How it works
Two audiences, two paths
Eveo puts the people planning an event in touch with the people supplying it. The two sides do different things and see different screens: both are set out here in full. Pick yours.
First path
If you are planning an event
No account, no cost, no commission.
01
Start from the category, or from the question
You can pick a category — catering, entertainment, flowers, transport — or write in your own words what you need. The search understands whole sentences: "wedding villa with 150 seats in Tuscany" is a valid search, and it works even when the right profile uses different words from yours.
02
Narrow down with the filters that matter for that category
The filters change with the category, because the questions change: for a venue it is capacity and parking, for a photographer it is style and delivery times. Active filters stay visible and come off with one tap, so you never end up with zero results without knowing why.
03
Compare
The attributes that matter sit in the same place on every card, so your eye lines them up and the comparison is real. On the full profile the facts are also written out in prose, not only in icons: you can read them, copy them and send them to whoever is deciding with you.
04
Ask for a quote
One form, with the type of event, the date or period, the number of guests and — if you want — a budget range. The supplier needs them to answer you properly instead of sending a price list. You get a confirmation email straight away with a copy of what you wrote.
05
Get the answers
A supplier who has not opened your request within 48 hours gets an automatic reminder. How often and how quickly they answer feeds into where they appear in the results, and their profile carries a line about their typical response time — but only once they have received enough requests for that number to mean something.
Who pays what
Why there are no stars
Second path
If you supply event services
The same meeting seen from the other side: three steps to be there, and after that the work is answering.
Step 1
You leave your details
Business name, category, contact person and a phone or email. We write to you and explain how it works.
One minute, no commitment
Step 2
You register your business profile
Different fields for each category: capacity, services, areas. A person on our team reviews it before it goes live.
About ten minutes
Step 3
You receive requests by email
Whoever is interested writes to you directly. You reply, agree the price and close the job, with no middleman.
From the day your profile is live
The rest is on the page for suppliers
Exactly what you get, why language models matter more than they look like they do, the objections with their answers, and how to join.
You fill in your company profile and send it. It goes live once a person has read it.
Ranking
How we rank results
We state it here, in full, on a page you can read without registering. Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 requires it towards suppliers, the Omnibus directive requires it towards consumers, and in any case an unstated ordering would be a misleading practice.
Results are ordered by relevance to the search: the match with the chosen category and subcategory, the region and the area served, the match with the words searched for and the closeness in meaning between the request and the supplier's description. Profile completeness then contributes: a profile that states more facts answers more questions.
Relevance cannot be bought: no payment makes a supplier more relevant than they are, and nobody shows up in a search they do not match. At equal relevance what counts is how complete the profile is, how often and how quickly the supplier answers requests, and the state of the listing: an active listing — one somebody is tending and answering from — comes first, while expired listings and catalogue entries nobody has claimed stay at the bottom. That is the only point where the relationship between Eveo and a supplier touches the order, and it is written in the terms of use too.
If featured spaces ever appeared anywhere on the site, they would be advertising space and labelled as such: they would not appear among search results and would not change their order.
This description has to stay true. If one day a ranking criterion changed, this page and the terms of use would change before the release, not after.
