About us
The marketplace for event suppliers, built around how people search today
This page says why Eveo exists, how we work and who is behind it. Where something has not been decided yet we put it in square brackets rather than invent it.
Why we exist
The way people search is shifting under the feet of everyone who sells a service. Until recently someone planning a wedding opened ten profiles and compared them; today, more and more often, they ask a language model a question and read one answer with three names in it. The companies doing the catering, the staging, the transport or the photography have neither the time nor the tools to chase that change on their own, and it is not their trade.
Eveo does that work for them, and does it the only way that works: pages served complete by the server, facts written in prose and not only in icons, addresses that never change, and a monthly measure of what is happening. It is not a promise of visibility — it is dull technical work, done properly. The honest part of the job is also saying when it is not enough.
Four rules we do not negotiate
They are product decisions, not slogans: each one has a cost we have accepted.
An indexed address never becomes a missing page
This is the rule that sits above all the others. An expiry, a missed payment or a review in progress do not remove a page that search engines and models have already learned. Only two things remove it: the supplier asking, and a sanction. And even then the address does not pretend it never existed: it declares the removal and points to the category.
No rating we cannot verify
No stars, no averages, no reviews until we have a serious way to tie the person writing to an event that actually happened. The cost is obvious: a profile with stars looks richer. The alternatives, though, are worse than the gap.
The ordering is declared
Results are ordered by relevance — category and subcategory, area, words searched for, profile completeness — and relevance cannot be bought: no payment makes a supplier more relevant than they are. At equal relevance an active listing comes first, ahead of an expired one or a catalogue entry nobody has claimed yet. We write that in full on the "How it works" page, together with every other criterion, and if advertising space ever appeared it would be labelled as such. Not because declaring it is merely an obligation: because leaving it unsaid would turn an ordering into a deception.
The data stays in Italy
Database, images and application run in the Milan region; analytics stay in the European Union. This choice too has a declared downside: a single region instead of several means less fault tolerance, in exchange for data residency and minimal latency. We chose it knowingly, before creating the projects, because there is no going back afterwards.
Who is behind it

The company
Text in square brackets is information the client has not supplied yet: it must be replaced before the commercial launch.
If this way of working convinces you
The right place to start is your company's profile.
You fill in your company profile and send it. It goes live once a person has read it.
